Northeast Behavioral Health Care Consortium (NBHCC)is a non-profit organization which was created by Lackawanna, Luzerne, Susquehanna and Wyoming Counties to manage the HealthChoices behavioral health program in these four counties. HealthChoices is a statewide, mandatory, managed care program serving individuals who receive Medical Assistance. The program started in our counties on July 1, 2006 and currently serves approximately 85,000 members in the four counties.

Provider Advisory Committee Meetings - Wednesday, December 03, 2008All contracted providers for the Community Care/NBHCC Network are invited to send representative to the Provider Advisory Committee Meetings. Agendas include updates to provider participation in the Network, as well as provider agenda items. Agendas for upcoming meetings will be e-mailed to providers in advance of the meetings. Questions should be directed to your assigned provider representative.
Provider Advisory Committee Meetings are held at the Quality Inn, Pittston, PA from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Stakeholder Committee Meeting - Nominations - Monday, November 24, 2008
The Northeast Behavioral Health Care Consortium (NBHCC) is committed to ensuring member and family representation in the oversight of the HealthChoices program in the Northeast region. We take this commitment seriously and have designated one seat on the NBHCC Board of Directors for a member or family member representative. The term for that Board Member is a two year term. Over the past two years, Barb Landon has served diligently in that capacity, however her term expires in November 2008. Barb Landon has agreed to serve as a member of the Board until a new member is selected or if she is reappointed.
The Stakeholders Committee Meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 24, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at The Tribeca Center (formerly the Victoria Inn)
